Inservice sessions are scheduled at a variety of locations around the district.
Inservice sessions begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and will end at 3:30 p.m. There will be a break for lunch on your own.
Please arrive by 7:45 a.m. at your designated location. Upon arrival you will receive additional information about your day.
Periodically check SCHED for updates, cancellations, room number confirmations, and session details.
Participants in the World Language professional development sessions will share best practices and classroom implementation options from the summer immersion institute and other summer professional learning. Each language and each level will review the updated curriculum and share resources for its implementation. Technology will be a focus for the afternoon session. Teachers will discuss and work on new apps and extensions valuable for the WL classroom, share digital solutions to the recent change in availability of text resources in Spanish classes, updates to Google Classroom and digital security options for teachers to monitor students working digitally in the classroom.
